Melrose Councilor-at-Large

Community Resources

A Message from Monica

I am honored and grateful to have been elected as your Melrose Councilor-at-Large.

I have been committed to the fiscal discipline and tight budget control necessary to help curb increases in city taxes and fees and in our ever escalating water and sewer rates.

As your Councilor (formerly known as Alderman), I have helped Melrose stay on the forefront of sustainability.

As a former School Committee member and School Building Committee member, I have been committed to making sure our good schools not only to stay that way, but also improve.

Councilors are stewards of our city and the people in it – young and old. We are also stewards of our buildings, our roads, our parks, our infrastructure and also our checkbook.

I am so grateful that you have allowed me the honor of serving our city at large.

Thank you,

Monica
